While sometimes it feels like my entire life is made up of “favorites,” (it’s true), I went through and really looked at what I’ve absolutely LOVED this year. What I bought that I thought was worth it, things I’ve repurchased many times through the year and items that I wouldn’t want to be without. I combed through all of my favorites posts as well as my purchases and these are the best of the best of the year for me.

I’d love to hear your favorite discoveries from this year!

My Top Discoveries of 2025

Oura Ring. I bought my oura ring early in 2025 and it has pretty much changed my life. It’s no secret that I hate to sleep but I know that is horrible, and the oura ring really helps keep me motivated, on track and see where I need to improve sleep wise. I absolutely love it.

Greek Freak seasoning. I’ve put this on everything for months, but especially grilled chicken, salmon and roasted vegetables. Delish.

Sourhouse Doughbed. I’ve raved about the goldie for years – it’s the single reason my starter has survived this long. When the doughbed was released I instantly bought it and I use it almost daily. It’s so nice to have a dedicated bowl for only sourdough. And if you bake it three/four times a week like I do, it’s more than worth it.

Nike Vomero Plus running shoes. These shoes are so insanely comfortable, they are like walking on clouds. Great for workouts, walking, just lifestyle in general. I love them.

Frame le Slim Palazzo Jeans. I discovered these jeans in the spring and have got a few different washes since. They are super stretchy and fit so nicely.

Varley Half Zip Sweatshirt. This cocoa bean color is my absolute favorite and I could wear this everyday. It’s so cute, feels amazing and can even be dressed up a little.

Tory Burch Banana Chelsea Boots. I bought these boots at the start of fall and I have worn them at least 3 to 4 times every week. I LOVE them. They work so well and look amazing with jeans. Also are super comfortable.

Aritzia Super Puff Mittens. I usually prefer a glove over a mitten, but these are so form fitting and warm. I wear them on our morning walks and nothing keeps my hands as warm as these. They are also very secure on the wrist.

Haruharu Barrier Essence. This has been the year of skin flooding for me, and this has been my favorite product for it. I love how milky and moisturizing this toner is. I swear it helps my skin barrier.

Byoma Nourishing Body Oil. This is the body oil I use every single time I get out of the shower and I love it. It has no fragrance so it’s very nice.

Byoma Phyto Mucin Serum. This is another big part of my skincare, morning and night. It is incredibly moisturizing.

Educated Mess Vitamin C. Best vitamin c I’ve ever used – feels amazing on the skin and doesn’t irritate at all. I actually am on the monthly subscription for this, that’s how much I love it.

Pantene Pro Vitamin Essence. I’ve almost fully switched over to drugstore shampoo this year and my hair has never looked and felt better. This is part of my routine when I get out of the shower and while I know that being gentle with my hair has made a huge difference, I swear this is giving me excellent results too! Less/no breakage has been the biggest change.

Hanni Splash Salve. My shower doesn’t feel complete if I don’t end it with the splash salve. Basically an in-shower moisturizer, it has changed my skin from super dry to very moisturized.

Cyklar Vanilla Verve body wash. The hype is real – this is one of my very favorite scents ever. I have every product and layer them. I adore this scent so much, it’s the most lovely light vanilla that is not overly sweet. It’s a more mature vanilla!

The Maker Dream perfume. I bought this perfume early last year after going through many samples. It’s by far been my most worn scent this year. It is warm and vanilla based but again, not sweet. If you like warm ambery perfumes, you will love this.

Dyson Airstraight. I’ve had the airwrap for a million years, but bought this air straight in 2025. Where has this been all my life? I like it SO much more than the airwrap (granted, it’s doing different things) and it’s super easy to use. Love the results and how smooth it makes my hair while adding some volume and shine at the same time!

A peek at everything I’ve loved in December 2025!

FOOD

Chocolove peppermint creme trees. Like a peppermint pattie, but better! Elevated, if you will.

American Spoon hot chocolate. This is our go-to hot chocolate that we all love. It tastes so rich and is easy to use.

Ski Queen cheese. I LOVE this cheese and have for over a decade. It is CARAMEL – yes, caramel, so it may take a moment to get used to. But it’s incredible on a cheeseboard. And I was able to find it at Trader Joes!

Joy’s bakery style cookies. They are SO good. That is what is pictured above, but with mini m&ms!

HOME

Biom Frasier Fir wipes. My cousin told me about these and I adore them. They smell like the frasier fir candle! They have other scents too and the packaging is so sleep.

Epicurian cutting board. I got this at my favorite things party and it’s the best cutting board ever. I want to switch to all of these. It can go in the dishwasher too!

Mrs Meyers peppermint hand soap. This is my winter hand soap, always. We all love it!

Wondershop wipeable tablecloths. I get these tablecloths every season and LOVE them. They are festive and cute for the kids activities and wipeable so they last awhile. We always use them for parties and get togethers!

BEAUTY

Colorscience glow SPF 50. This is what I’ve been using as my base – no foundation, no bb cream – just this. It’s so glowy and I love it.

Maya chia brush. This might be the best brush I’ve ever had. It feels incredible on the scalp. It’s also such a nice size.

Dyson style cream. Bought this on a whim to hold my curls and it’s fabulous! Definitely the best style cream I’ve tried this year.

Haus Labs balm stick. The lilac shade is my favorite blush shade right now, along with the bright red. It blends and keeps you dewy.

Fenty gloss stick in The MVP. This has been the red shade I’ve worn all season. It’s like a gloss balm so you can apply without a mirror, but still gives you that red pop. Very moisturizing too.

FASHION

Free people half zip fleece. Been living in this for almost two months. I’ve bought countless as gifts. Love how soft and warm. I want it in every color!

Colette ruffle hem velvet pants. The colette pants are probably my favorite pants of all time. They are so flattering and comfortable. These are SO cute with the ruffle bottom and I’ve worn them multiple times already!

Thermal base layer. This has saved me on walks outside. I love it so much. It’s the first layer I put on and definitely keeps me warm.

Alo cashmere socks. I bought this on a black friday promo. I am not a sock person, I sort of hate them! But these are so soft and incredible. I’ve been wearing them all month with boots!

MEDIA

Good Spirits. I have zero interested in reading anything paranormal, but I love this author so much. Loved this one, it was great!

Heated Rivalry. This is on HBO and I am hooked. The characters and acting are amazing. Watch them on social media for behind the scenes and it’s incredible.

Leslie Odom Simply Christmas. Almost ten years later, I’m still listening to this. LOVE it.

KIDS

Guinness World Records 2026. My kids love going through this, especially Max and Emilia. We get one every year and it’s always a highlight.

Glitter dino ornaments. Jordan took one of these for an ornament exchange at school. It is so cute that I bought more for their trees. They are adorable and my kids love them!

Kids paint by numbers kit. This is one of Emilia’s favorite art things to do. It keeps her entertained for hours and then she hangs them in her room. Very cute!

A peek at everything I’ve loved in November 2025!

FOOD

Marshmallow stirrers. These are my favorite thing to put on my hot cocoa bar – and to use in hot cocoa.

Tazo glazed lemon loaf tea. Oooooh I adore this with some honey and milk, and I am not a tea person. It really does taste like a fresh dessert.

Spindrift cranberry punch. This is such a delicious holiday flavor. I am already having a hard time finding it again. It’s so great for the season.

HOME

Battery window candles. I adore these. The base is so nice, the flame flickers and they looks so pretty in our windows. Love them.

Thymes Noir Woods candle. This smells like my frasier fir but smokier and a more fall-like. I love it.

4 pack pine & cedar christmas picks. I bought a few of these to create a kitchen centerpiece and the quality is so good! They are so pretty and the combination of difference branches looks amazing with these red berries in a vase.

Diet Coke christmas ornament. This is my favorite ornament on my kitchen tree right now because it’s SO sparkly. Plus, it’s basically my whole identity.

BEAUTY

Pantene pro vitamin essence. I got my hair done last week and I swear it’s the healthiest it has been in YEARS. Like maybe 10 years?! I use this after almost every wash and combined with being very gentle with my hair, I think it’s the reason.

Makeup by Mario softsculpt skin enhancer. This bronzer is incredible. It’s meant to warm up the skin and it blends flawlessly. It is so easy to use and really looks gorgeous on the skin.

Eadem Mami Wata mist. One of my favorite things I bought in the sephora sale! This mist is incredibly hydrating. I love the cashmere peel by this brand too.

Rhode barrier butter. This cream is incredible. It’s super thick and kind of melts into a balm once it’s on your skin. I use this after I use a retinol and the hydration is incredible.

FASHION

Quince Bella Stretch wide leg jeans. I was so hesitant to try the quince jeans and oh my gosh, I LOVE these ones. SO stretchy, but still have a great structure. And I really love the washes. And the price!

Sorel Joan Now Chelsea boots. It’s no secret I’ve loved my sorel boots for AGES – the ones I have are all wedges and I wanted some fully flat ones. Absolutely love these.

Free People half zip fleece. A repeat but I live in one of these daily. They are so warm and cozy. Definitely one of my favorite things!

MEDIA

It’s Different This Time. Technically I read this on the last day of October, but I am still thinking about how much I loved it. It’s such a great read and very perfect for fall.

All Her Fault. The best show I’ve watched in ages. Oh my gosh – I was hooked instantly. There are twists up until the very end.

A Ralph Lauren Christmas playlist. Obsessed with this playlist right now.

KIDS

Mondo Llama ceramic snow globe paint kit. We love these for every holiday, but the kids really love when we get the lit ones! All 3 put this in their room right after painting.

How To Draw Cute Stuff. Emilia is so into art and she got this for her birthday. It is so fun and cute. She loves it!

Guinness World Records 2026. Max’s favorite book of the year!! He can sit and look this over for hours.

The fall 2025 sephora sale is here!

Oh my gosh – this is my FAVORITE sale of the entire year! I think it’s because it falls during my birthday week and I’ve always shopped it as a birthday present. But as a lifelong beauty product junkie/shopaholic, this is truly my favorite sale to shop. I stock up on my everyday products. I try new products! I try shades of products I already know that I love, buy christmas gifts for friends and family and buy jumbo sizes of shampoo.

I do include my beauty picks in my favorites every month if you’re searching! But… mostly because once 2020 hit, I just wasn’t wearing makeup as much and in the last fives years or so, I’ve made a serious switch to skincare over makeup. So many of you have told me this as you’ve gotten older and I can totally relate. I have been getting back into makeup a lot in the last few months. Probably because Jordan is finally more independent. I still love makeup and beauty products, but skincare definitely comes first for me at the moment.

These are all my personal recommendations. I ramble about them too. They probably come as no surprise considering I’ve talked about almost everything before, but here we are! I’d love to hear what you love so I can build out my wishlist!

I like to get the big items like dyson hair tools at this sale. Also, good skincare (Bader!), value size shampoo and sunscreen. I also love it to buy perfume during the sale, because you can rarely find that on sale (if ever!) – especially Tom Ford, Jo Malone, Killian, etc. All those good ones that are so expensive and never go on sale. None of this is sponsored, I just loooove talking beauty products with you.

My 2025 Can’t Miss Products

Makeup by Mario nature palette. I have the previous ethereal eyes palettes and use them like crazy. I love these new colors – they are right up my alley.

Eadem cashmere peel. This is such a gentle exfoliator and has really changed my skin. I use to twice a week and I love it. Zero irritation!

Replica afternoon delight perfume. I’ve been wearing it consistently every single day all year. It’s my current #1 right now!

Crown Affair hair towel. Can’t live a day without this. I have multiples so I’m never without one. I gift this all the time!

Rhode glazing mist. I was very anti-rhode then decided to try this once it entered sephora. I’m already on my second bottle. Love it.

Rhode barrier butter. Same as the above! This is an amazing heavy moisturizer. I adore it. I use it after my retinol.

Dyson hair dryer. This is ridiculous but also the best dryer I’ve ever used. I’ve had mine for over 5 years and can’t go without it.

K18 hair mask. This works WONDERS for my hair. I use it every other week in the shower, leave on for 4 minutes, then rinse out and condition!

Hourglass unlocked mascara. The black and the brown – both the best mascara. Not waterproof, but doesn’t smudge at all!

Maker The Dream perfume. This was a new find in 2024 and the scent is fabulous. So warm but sweet and a little smoky.

Hanni splash salve. This is my best find of 2025. A balm you put on your skin right before getting out of the shower. Incredible.

Crown Affair overnight hair serum. This is another great find this year. I use it at night and it’s not greasy at all.

Crown Affair leave in conditioner. One of my major loves for leave-in conditioner, especially if I’m air drying my hair.

Briogeo birthday cake hair mask. This smells INCREDIBLE. Also works amazingly well. I use it once a week!

Mane comb. This is a wide tooth comb that I keep in my shower to use post-conditioner and mask. I love it.

Laniege lip glaze. I have the strawberry sprinkles version of this and have multiples. They are stashed everywhere.

Laniege cream skin. One of my favorite milky toners ever. Very important to get the spray attachment too!

Bondi Boost straightener. This is the current straightener I’m using. It’s been great.

Then I Met You the giving essence. I love this essence, it’s a little thick in a liquidy way and feels so good on the skin.

Pro powder brush. My favorite blush and bronzer brush!

YSL blush. These colors are also incredible. And this is so pigmented and beautiful.

Kosas blush. This is my everyday blush.

Georgio Armani liquid blush. My favorite liquid blush. Not as bold as rare beauty and the colors are great.

Fenty lip gloss stick. Adore the shine and balm texture.

Crown Affair hair clips. Super expensive but I’ve found to be worth it. I’ve tried years of amazon clips. These have teeth INSIDE them and work like a dream. I’m going to give these to many people this year. I use them daily.

Innisfree glowy sunscreen. I use this everyday as my SPF on my face. It’s great under makeup too.

Tower 28 gloss set. This was the best gift last year. I gave it to so many people. I love these glosses!

My Everyday Essential Products

Crown Affair dry shampoo. Can’t explain how GOOD this is. Works like a dream with the targeted application brush.

Augustinus Bader The Rich Cream. This will always be a repurchase for me. I use it as eye cream, as face cream – it’s incredible. Totally worth it for me.

Elemis Dynamic Resurfacing Pads. I am loving this. They are gentle enough for daily use.

Supergoop Value Size Sunscreen. I buy one of these every summer. It stays in the garage and we have sunscreen every time we step out.

Dr. Dennis Gross Daily Peel Pads. I use these a few times a week at night. Swear they work on the texture on my face.

Fresh Sugar Advanced Therapy Lip balm. This saves my lips every night.

Laneige Lip Glowy Balm. Every flavor of this is wonderful. So soft and moisturizing.

Beauty Blender. I am never without a beauty blender for foundation/bb cream/concealer/etc.

Iconic London Underglow Blurring Primer. I don’t like primers but LOVE this. It just evens out the skin and smooths it – I use it on its own or mix with a tinter moisturizer or foundation.

Iconic London Blurring Skin Tint. Also love this!! I’ve been mixing it with the above. Still light coverage, but very natural and nice.

Ciele Serum Foundation. This is another excellent one like above that has great coverage but also sunscreen! Sits really nicely on the skin and does not ball up.

bareMinerals Complexion Rescue. If you like really light coverage, this is still my absolute favorite. I’ve used it forever.

Haus Labs Concealer. I discovered it this year and it’s my holy grail now. Obsessed.

Gucci Bronzer. Best bronzer ever. I’m on my third one.

Fenty Bronzer. This is slightly lighter and cooler than the gucci and I like it in the winter time for a very light contour.

Charlotte Tilbury Setting Powder. I use this over tinted moisturizer or sunscreen. It’s awesome.

Iconic London Radiance Complexion Booster. Use this mixed in with all my tinted moisturizers!

Iconic London Liquid Highlight. Adore this highlight for mixing with foundation or moisturizer. It’s very liquidy and it’s pretty golden (almost too golden for me!) but it is wonderful for mixing. I use this almost everyday.

Westman Atelier Contour Stick. My favorite contour stick of all time. I use the shade biscuit. I’m on my second one and it is a great formula.

Rare Beauty Liquid Contour. While I do prefer a stick, the cool toned shades of this are INCREDIBLE. And it blends so nicely!

Rare Beauty Silky Touch Highlighter. This is such a gorgeous highlighter and creamy formula. It’a almost always sold out too. If you see it, grab it!

Hourglass Unlocked Mascara. I hate buying expensive mascara but omg this is WORTH IT. It’s a tubing mascara and does not flake or smudge, plus gives excellent length.

Benefit Gimme Brow. The ONLY thing I use on my brows. It’s so natural. Nothing compares to the tiny brush. Have used this for over a decade.

Nars Pro Prime Smudgeproof Base. This is my favorite for eyeshadow base. Have used it forever.

Lawless Forget the Filler Gloss. Can you tell I am obsessed with balm and gloss?! I probably have five of these.

Lawless Forget the Filler Balm. Equally as good as the above!!

Dior Lip Glow Oil. Another classic that I always have with me. my current favorite is the berry shade.

Fenty Gloss Bomb Ice. If you’re someone who loves a mint lipgloss, this is a fabulous one. Always have one in my car.

Urban Decay Moondust Eyeshadow. I love these for a single swipe of color. My favorites are space cowboy and rebel star.

Makeup By Mario Master Matte Nuetrals Palette. My favorite matte palette.

Natasha Denona I Need a Nude Palette. My everyday eye palette!

Natasha Denona Glam Palette. I use this when I want a little more drama.

Dyson Air Wrap. Another thing I didn’t think I’d ever buy, but last year I did. It is AMAZING! This can definitely be a one stop shop for your hair. If I could only take one hair tool with me to a deserted island, it would be this. It’s so pricey and rarely ever on sale!

Color Wow Dream Coat. This is key in the warmer months for no frizz.

Kerastase Hair Oil Serum. I use this once a week on my ends.

Oribe Dry Texturizing Spray. This is my favorite spray to use on dry hair. Adds texture and volume but isn’t sticky.

My Fragrance Essentials

I am a warm fragrance person. I love all things vanilla, amber, mush, a very very light hint of floral – those are the scents I gravitate towards. These are a few of my all-time faves that I highly recommenced. Fragrance never goes on sale so this is the perfect time to try. I also always try travel sizes first when possible before buying a big bottle.

Glossier You. This has been one of my favorites for YEARS. It’s delicious.

Tom Ford Vanilla Sex. One of my newest perfumes and I adore it. Smells wonderful.

Carolina Herrara Good Girl. As a note, I hate this bottle. It kept me from buying it for years. But this is basically the best scent ever.

Tom Ford Soleil Blanc. My go to summer scent. A light coconutty but warm fragrance.

Tom Ford Lost Cherry Warm and delicious with a hint of red cherry. It’s so good.

Kilian Paris Love Don’t Be Shy. This is kind of marshmallowy and sweet but also light with light floral. It’s delicious.

Jo Malone Mimosa and Cardamom. A longtime favorite of mine. Warm and floraly.

Jo Malone Ginger Biscuit. For the first time in a long time (like years), they are also offering this in a travel spray! Best holiday scent.

[as usual, none of this is sponsored and all of these products were purchased by me. i am not affiliated with any of the companies above, nor do i accept free products. just love to talk about what i like, makeup junkie to makeup junkie. there are some amazon and general reward style affiliate links above. thank you for being here!]

A peek at everything I loved in October 2025!

FOOD

Alexandra Cooks sourdough bread recipe. This is the recipe I use for my sourdough and it’s just SO simple, easy and foolproof! I can’t recommend it enough.

Raw Manuka Honey Snaps. I love that these come in single servings. So easy to transport and I use them on sourdough too.

Kodiak Flapjack Puffs. My kids have protein pancakes most mornings before school – we recently tried these puff version and they love them! Especially Jordan. They are very fun for dipping.

HOME

Halloween espresso cups. I bought the espresso cups by accident (thought they were full mugs) but I LOVE them! They are so cute and I’ve had them displayed by my espresso machine. The bistro pattern is just so adorable and timeless.

Mystic Icon juice glasses. On that same note, I also love the icon juice glasses. I’ve had mine for years and the kids love drinking out of them during the seasons. They are also so substantial and everyone else loves them too. Love that they are decor too.

Emily Lex christmas checklist. I am obsessed with the entire christmas line (the recipe cards!! the watercolors!) but the checklist is what I bought. I can’t even explain how cute it is! I absolutely love it.

Stanley Flip Straw. I have been fully converted to the flip straw tumblers. I still prefer a 40 ounce one but with the flip straw there is NO leaking and it’s just so easy to transport! I also really like the hydrojugs too. I’m feeling very 2022 with this favorite, but I’ve actually got rid of all my cups with the straws!

BEAUTY

Anua Moisture Milk. This feels like actual SILK on my face. It’s not heavy enough for my night time moisturizer but it’s incredible during the day. Great under makeup too!

Nivea Essentially Enriched Lotion. Using this post shower is incredible – it’s so rich and truly leaves your skin feeling so hydrated. And it has a pump. I love that it’s not fragranced either. It just works.

Loreal True Match Lumi Glotion. This was a tiktok find for me and I just want to know how it took me so long to try it. I love mixing this with a tinted moisturizer or drop of foundation – the coverage is amazing. It’s still glowy and light but leaves the most gorgeous sheen on the skin.

The Maker Dream perfume. I’ve had the travel size of this perfume for over a year and just bought the full size. It’s my perfect kind of scent – very warm and even slightly masculine. Definitely lasts too!

FASHION

Nike Vomero running shoes. I’ve had a pair of these for two months now and they are SO comfortable. They are like Nike’s version of Hokas with super serious cushioning. They have so much support and are great for walking.

Soft V Neck Long Sleeve. I have this in black and brown and I love it because it’s like a bodysuit without the bodysuit! It gives the exact same look and style but without the bodysuit bottom. SO much more comfortable. Also very warm and great for layering right now.

Varley Hawley Half Zip. I adore Varley – the quality is incredible. I have this in cocoa bean and it’s my current favorite piece of clothing. So soft.

MEDIA

The Life of a Showgirl. Is this even a question?! We’ve listened to nothing else! I love every single song so much.

Buckeye. I can’t even explain how much I loved this book. I couldn’t put it down – I loved all the characters so much.

Task on HBO. This show is unreal. So so so good. If you haven’t watched, do it!

KIDS

Wicked Witches Sticker Dress Up Book. Emilia has the Taylor Swift version of this and loves it. I just got this one this week and it is SO cute. I am going to give it to her for her birthday. She also loves to do these during hockey or when we’re in the car for an extended period of time.

Primary Flexlite Tee. I can’t even explain how much Jordan loves these. They are so soft, I bought them in every color for him. He even asks to sleep in them!

Lego Travel Moments. Max got this for Christmas last year and he and Emilia put it together this past weekend. They have had SO much fun with it! He wants to display it in the kitchen so it’s currently sitting on the island… haha.

I was sooo excited to see an amazon beauty event this week!! The sephora sale is in a few weeks and I knew there had to be some good products in this one. Also, I get almost all of my korean beauty on amazon too. I’m such a beauty/product junkie that I combed through the entire list to see what’s on sale.

You can find my full list here, but I picked out the top 20 that I love.

20 Amazon Beauty Sale Favorites

Bioderma atoderm oil cleanser. We have one of these in every shower and they are amazing. It removes sunscreen, dirt and debris like nothing else. I use them on the kids and myself every day with sunscreen! It’s so gentle too.

Dyson air wrap. I can’t believe this is in the sale – I use mine constantly and there is nothing like it for volume!

Dyson hair dryer. And the dryer!! Eddie and I both use this daily and it’s the best hair dryer I’ve ever used. So fast and powerful. Can’t imagine not using it.

Charlotte Tilbury pinkgasm. This is one of my favorite makeup products – a little blush highlighter duo. It’s so pretty.

CosRX snail mucin. If you have dry skin, you need this. It is majorly hydrating.

Kitsch spray bottle. This is what I use for Emilia’s hair every morning! The continuous spray is so good. It makes braids and tighter hairstyles super easy. We use it for the boys hair too.

Kitsch pony tail cutters. I also use these almost daily. They are the only way to remove the tight tiny clear elastics without ripping out hair.

Kitsch gua sha. This is my favorite gua sha tool I’ve tried. It’s the best!

Kitsch satin pillowcase. Emilia uses this for sleep every night (I use the sleep crown!) and it is one of the best ways to keep her hair detangled.

Anastasia soft glam palette. This has been one of my long-time favorite palettes. I’ve had it forever and probably need a new one.

Ouai detox shampoo set. I use this shampoo once a week as a clarifier and it is SO good. Really removes any buildup. The scalp scrub is also incredible and I’ve use it for years.

Dove intensive repair shampoo/conditioner. This is my daily shampoo and conditioner and I love it. Emilia also uses it. It smells fantastic.

K18 gift set. This k18 bond repair is one of the best things I’ve ever used on my hair, especially after getting highlights/bleach. The oil is also a favorite.

Elemis cleansing balm. I’ve used this for many years and while I almost always prefer a pump, this works incredibly well and removes every bit of makeup!

Laneige oil foam cleanser. This is a great cleanser to use if you’re just beginning with oil cleansing. It is so soft.

Phlur skin gift set. I adore these body sprays. The heavy cream, vanilla skin and beach skin are my absolute favorites. They are not cloyingly sweet and smell more mature than sol de janiero!

Tata Harper resurfacing serum. This is an amazing exfoliant for the face but it’s also great for the body! Like back of arms.

Keihls creme de corps. Anything with a pump and I’m sold. I’ve used this on and off for a million years. Maybe 15? 20? It smells wonderful.

Laneige s’mores kisses. This is such a fun little gift, stocking stuffer or even present for yourself. I love the glosses.

Laneige glaze craze. The strawberry sprinkles shade is my go-to gloss for everyday.

Tirtir power serums. I LOVE the tirtir brand and their milky toners are incredible. I grabbed this and can’t wait to try them.

Over the last few months I have found so many new skincare products that I adore! I was introduced to skin flooding/the 7 layer toner method on tiktok and it has become such a huge part of my routine. It’s a great way to start the day and unwind at night too. Through this, I have found so many great new-to-me products for my skin. I have mostly dry, slightly sensitive skin and am all about the moisture. These are just a few of the products I am loving right now, some of which happen to be in the amazon prime sale.

16 Beauty Products I’m Loving Right Now

Prequel Half and Half Moisturizer. You will see a TON of milky toners/ceramide moisturizers in this post. They have changed my skin. And this is my favorite. It’s called a moisturizer and definitely works as one – I use it as the final layer of skincare before a heavier moisturizer or before sunscreen. I adore it! It feels like silk.

Prequel Oil Cleanser. I’ve double cleansed my skin for years now and this tops all oil cleansers for me. It’s affordable, so gentle, moisturizing and doesn’t have a scent. I love it and use it twice a day.

Prequel Vitamin C. I swear this is not a prequel ad (hello, I wish!) but the products are just SO good. Easy to get at target or on amazon and great prices for the quality. This is VERY similar to the skinceuticals vitamin c – which I have used for close to 10 or 15 years and is super pricey. I have now replaced it with this and the Educated Mess Vitamin C which I also love.

Medicube Zero Pore Pads. I like the mild version since my skin is dry. I will use these twice or three times a week and they are great. Don’t hurt my skin barrier, strip the skin or break me out.

Eadem Cashmere Peel. I LOVE this peel because it is so gentle and good for sensitive skin. It doesn’t dry out my skin at all. I use it once a week.

Haruharu Barrier Essence. This is my #1 milky toner!! I adore this. It feels incredible on the skin and it is my last layer before moisturizer.

Laneige Cream Skin. This is another one of my favorite milky moisturizing toners. I bought the mister with it and it’s perfect! Mists so gently on the skin and is incredibly moisturizing. I use this before the Haruharu barrier essence above.

I’m From Rice Toner. Another milky toner! This one is lighter than the two above. I use it before both. It’s very calming, soothing and great for sensitive skin.

I’m From Mugwort Essence. This goes on before the rice toner above. This feels INCREDIBLE on the skin. It’s soothing, makes you feel glowy and very hydrated. I love it.

Inkey List Hydro Barrier Serum. This serum is SO hydrating, it feels like putting butter on your face, in the best way possible. I use this after toners, before moisturizer.

Innisfree Glowy Finish Sunscreen. One of the sunscreens I am loving right now. I will use this on its own or under sunscreen. Does not break me out at all.

Haruharu Wonder Airyfit Sunscreen. Another SPF that I love. Same as above – great under sunscreen and alone. Also doesn’t migrate into my eyes which is huge.

Hanni Splash Salve. This is a body product and has changed my skin. You put it on in the shower and just quickly rinse it off as your last step. It does leave a moisturizing oil/cream on your skin and then you pat dry. I add more body cream and oil after. It really seals in the moisture! I never want to be without this in my shower.

Cyklar Vanilla Verve Body Wash. I don’t know what it is about this scent but it is incredible. It’s a warm, more mature vanilla scent that isn’t too sweet. I want to smell like this all the time. Also, the body wash is so moisturizing. This bottle is also big and it lasts forever!

Kosas Wet Stick. This is the best lipstick/balm hybrid ever! It is very moisturizing and glossy – also one of those that you can put on without a mirror. And it looks like your lips but better!

Oribe Dry Heat Protectant. I got my hair done in May and learned something: I should be using heat protection with every step of heat. This has been a huge game changer for me. So has finding dry heat protectants! I prefer a dry version if I’m heat styling my hair. This one smells incredible, sprays nicely and locks in the style without it weighing down my hair or leaving it sticky or crunchy. I think I’ll use it forever.

The best of the best amazon prime day deals! Everything I have and love and recommend.

I love prime day! I always find so many great things – last year I did the majority of the kids’ christmas shopping (my 2025 kids picks are here) on this day! Since we moved over a year ago, I have been able to find SO many home deals during this sale. Today I’m sharing my top 25 favorites – the things I think are really worth it in the sale and have made a difference in my everyday life!

Most of these probably sound familiar because they are in my monthly favorites over and over again. Everything is something I have and love!

You can find more of my picks here, as well as my amazon store front.

Top 25 Amazon Prime Day Deals

Easy Everyday! You can grab my newest cookbook as well as all my others on sale today!

Parchment Paper Sheets. I buy these over and over again. Can’t live in my kitchen without them!

Kindle Paperwhite. I can’t live without my kindle these days. Max also has one and uses it constantly when we’re on the go. I take mine everywhere. I actually get anxious if I forget it at home! I also have the tiny kindle which I love to take in small bags or leave in my car so I always have it!

Magnatiles. Possibly the most versatile toy ever – my kids (ages 10 to 3) all still adore magnatiles. They keep them busy and are easy transportable. They have built some really cool things with them!

Toniebox. Jordan absolutely loved his Toniebox. It is incredible and I wish these existed when Max was his age!

Yoto Mini. This is what Emilia and Max have – it’s like the toniebox but for older kids. Emilia has used hers every single day for YEARS. She listens to it at night, we take it in the car, on vacation, everything.

Osea Body Balm. I love all Osea products, but this balm feels incredible on the skin. Almost like a serum. I use it right after the shower, before the oil.

Pro Belgian Waffle Maker. I love this waffle maker. Last year I started doing waffle bar parties and I have two of these going during the parties. They are super simple to use! And make delish waffles too.

Rotary Cheese Grater. It’s definitely mac and cheese, casserole and cheesy potato season! This makes grating cheese to perfection SO much easier. I don’t know why I haven’t always used one. I love it. And use it multiple times a week! It’s very easy to clean and I put the parts in the dishwasher too.

Rubbermaid Glass food storage. These are what we’ve used for years for food storage – Eddie uses them every day to take lunches to work. I use every size for leftovers! I put them in the dishwasher and they hold up great.

Digital Meat Thermometer. Can’t live without this. Great gift, great to have on hand. I use it all the time.

Wall Charger, Surge Protector. I have a few of these and I like to travel with them. They are also great in the kitchen. We all have so many different devices these days that having this is necessary.

Samsonite luggage. We bought this exact luggage for my mom two Christmases ago and it’s excellent. She loves it, it’s very easy to spin (she is tiny and in her 70s) and walk with.

Cordless Dust Buster. We have three of these! They live in all corners of the house and garage and are so easy to prop up on the charger. We also use them for our cars.

Kasa Outdoor Smart Plugs. The indoor kasa plugs are what I’ve used for christmas decor for many years. They hook up to alex and you can use voice commands. Having an outdoor one is brilliant!

Wool Dryer Balls. I stopped using dryer sheets years ago. I love the wool balls and aside from my kids using them as “snowballs,” they work great.

A peek at everything I loved in September 2025!

FOOD

Spiceology greek freak seasoning. This is SO good. My cousin introduced us to it and we love it. I can find it at target and even a big one at costco. It tastes amazing on just about anything.

Trader Joe’s falafel. I’ve been heating these in the air fryer and make wraps with them for lunch! Add romaine, roasted red peppers, cucumbers, hummus and feta. Amazing.

Go Nanas pumpkin loaf mix. I make my own pumpkin muffins multiple times a month, but sometimes it’s nice to just grab this and make it! My kids LOVE the banana bread one and they love this too. I was so excited to find it!

HOME

The doughbed by Sourhouse. I’ve raved about the goldie for my starter for years now. This little bread bed is amazing and I love having something specific just FOR the bread. I’ve haven’t had anything like that before. I always use one of my bowls that I use for everything else. These items are pricey but I use them every single day and week.

Hypochlorous acid mini wipes. I was SO excited to find these! They are stashed in my car, purse, travel bags – everywhere now. Love having them on the go and that they aren’t super harsh.

The best little label maker. I use this all the time – I’ve had it for years but it never comes in better use than at the beginning of the school year! I can’t be without it.

BEAUTY

Inkey list ectoin barrier serum. This might be my best skincare find all month. It feels incredible on the skin. I use it at night and it is SO hydrating.

Pantene 10 in 1 miracle rescue. I love this stuff SO much. I use it as a leave in conditioner, heat protectant – it smells amazing. Love everything about it.

Hanni splash salve. If you want major moisture for your skin, this is a must try. I love it. You put it on in the shower while your skin is still wet. It locks in so much hydration. Also smells wonderful too.

Rare Beauty luminizing lipgloss. I have the shade flicker and it is SO pretty.

FASHION

Cute in this cardigan cardi. Got this cardigan a few weeks ago and have been living in it.

Nike vomero plus sneakers. I think this is Nike’s answer to hoka – the insane cushioning is really good! The colors are amazing and they feel like walking on clouds.

MZ wallace light denim small sutton. I’ve had this bag since last spring and I grab it all the time. It’s a great everyday bag, perfect size for my kids’ age and also such a nice neutral that isn’t black or tan!

MEDIA

The Academy. I LOVED Elin’s new book with her daughter. I think it is a perfect fall read (the school feel is real!) and has that signature Elin voice.

Olivia Dean’s music. All of it! How am I just discovering this now?

The Summer I Turned Pretty. Absolutely made my whole month. I have loved this show from the very start.

KIDS

3D printed dragons. We bought these at the beach this year and I have no idea why, but my kids are obsessed with them. They play with them constantly. And we have gifted quite a few now too!

Wipe clean notebook. I got Jordan this exact workbook because he loves drawing and tracing – he does this at hockey or sits at the kitchen table and does it! He loves it and will do it over and over.

Pumpkin jewel kit. Bought two of these for fall/pumpkins and they are AMAZING!!

Ponytail cutters. I can’t live without these for Emilia. They make removing tiny elastic bands SO easy. And pain free.

A peek at everything I loved in August 2025!

FOOD

Sourdough pretzel rings. I am not a pretzel person but my kids are. Well, these have made me a pretzel person. Absolutely delish!

Wildgrain. I mentioned in my substack that I got a wildgrain box and we really love it. The sourdough, croissants, cookies and english muffins have all been so good.

Trader Joe’s chocolate gummy bears. I never thought I enjoyed chocolate gummy bears until these. Ooooh they taste amazing.

My chicken caesar wraps. I’ve made them so much this summer!

HOME

Floating command shelves. We’ve been loving these for the kids’ rooms. They are so sturdy and the perfect size for them. I wish I knew these existed earlier!

Ooni stack bowls. I LOVE these. They are technically for dough proofing for the ooni oven but I use them to store all sorts of things! Ingredients in the fridge, prepped things for cooking, etc.

Costco outdoor table set. We bought this table in April – I was in costco and sat in it and was instantly hooked at how comfortable it is. The chairs are unbelievably comfortable!! Everyone who sits in them can’t believe it. And they are bar height so they are a little easier for our older family members to sit in too. They also swivel. I am ready to order a second table for our deck because we moved this one to the pool!

BEAUTY

Educated Mess vitamin C serum. I think this has officially replaced the skincueticals vitamin c for me. I love the texture and it’s so brightening!

Prequel half and half moisturizer. I don’t even know how to explain this – it’s like a milky moisturizer and the texture is wonderful. I use it every which way: under sunscreen, under makeup, as a moisturizer under a thicker one, over and under my retinol. It’s amazing.

Cyklar vanilla body wash. This body wash smells incredible and is so moisturizing. Like a rich vanilla but not sickly sweet.

Haruharu wonder daily sunscreen. I am loving EVERYTHING from this brand (the barrier essence is incredible) and this sunscreen is fabulous. I think it might even replace my favorite beauty of joseon. So great under makeup, no breaking out, etc. The texture is wonderful.

FASHION

Rhone mirage half zip. This is going to be my summer-to-fall staple. It’s so thin and lightweight but lays so nicely. I absolutely love it. I got it in black and white!

Frame le palazzo crop jeans. My favorite jeans ever – but the crop is like a regular jean on me. Love them. They are so stretchy and comfortable.

Aerie offline wide leg pants. These are exactly like some foldover yoga pants I had in college and I’m obsessed. So cozy and perfect for lounging.

MEDIA

The Summer I Turned Pretty! It will forever be a comfort show for me. I love it. And yes I read the books years ago!

A Song To Sing by Miranda Lambert & Chris Stapleton. Ugh! I just LOVE this song. I can listen to it on repeat 50 times. It’s so good.

Wild Dark Shore. Definitely my favorite of the month. Heart wrenching, wonderful, suspenseful – everything.

KIDS

Kids swim fins. We got these in two sizes and they are the hit of the summer. It’s so cute seeing how fast the kids can swim with them on! They love them.

Twisty pets bracelets. Just going to say it: my kids love junk. Like junky fun from five below, target dollar spot, etc. We try to limit it but these are SO cute – I bought one as a back to school treat for Emilia and Jordan immediately wanted one too, so we ordered a 3-pack. They’re a hit, very fun and cute!

Cooling towels. These have been a MUST for my kids during running season! They run cross country and it’s been hot as heck here. It’s amazing how much these cool you down. These and the neck fans are staples once the meets start.
